It's my favorite perfume ever... Perfect for "special" occasions or great for every day. It is my signature scent!
This was a nice shocker. I sniffed at the drug store and bought one of those 3 for 10 specials that they run with exclamation, emarude, vanilla musk and sand and sable, etc. I took it to mexico with me on a mission trip. it was hot and sticky and we had very little water so i would spray this in my hair to freshen it. every night when i let my hair down it gave off this amazing clean, wispy and floral scent. I am shocked i like this since i am usually a die hard orential fan. I think it has been overlooked and under advertised.
It is much too loud- I prefer my florals to be soft/creamy. I'd say also that that this belongs in the same category as White Diamonds. I love being able to find a nice inexpensive scent, but Charlie Red doesn't make the grade here.
I purchased a small bottle (0.5 ounce) one weekend at the local drugstore. I was pleasantly surprised at the compliments that I received Monday during the day. I guess it all depends on your body chemistry. Rarely do I receive compliments on the more expensive fragrances that I wear. I guess I will be wearing this more often.
and obnoxious like white diamonds.older lady at work wears it and i just hate it.
I also wore this when I was younger. I bought a huge bottle on a whim and wore it throughout eighth and ninth grade. It is pretty strong, sharp stuff, and I'm surprised that it's described as "fruity," because on me it didn't smell at all like fruit. It smelled more like tuberose. It's okay, though I wouldn't wear it anymore; too mid-90's. Plus, my old bottle went bad after a year (really bad!). Use it up quickly! P.S. to Charlie: Charlie Blue is another name for the original Charlie, I think.
THIS FRAGRANCE IS PROBABLY THE BEST OF THE CHARLIE FRAGRANCES (ONLY AN OPINION) IT IS SUPER SENSUAL, WARM BRIGHT, FRUITY AND SHARP, SASSY SCENT, THAT I THINK MOST WOMEN WOULD (AND NEARLY ALL GUYS) APPRECIATE. FOR SOME PEOPLE IT MIGHT A BIT TOO HEADY AND OVERWHELMING; IF YOU LIKE GIORGIO RED OR RED DOOR, IT IS AN INEXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVE. (AT LEAST ON ME) IT ROCKS!!!
Ain't it perfect, it fits my name and smells exactly as I like it. Whoo. I also saw a Charlie BLUE in store recently, which I didn't see listed on the site. Oh well.
Went purfume shopping yesterday and decided to get this one too, really surprisingly nice, scent seems to last too
I love "red" out of all the charlies. It's fresh, fruity and sweet. You can wear this everyday casualy.
This one to me smells like hairspray. I used to know a guy who wore it because it smelled like a more expensive colonge he liked.
Was surprised how nice it smells. Great for everyday wear.
Have been wearing it for a long time...wonderfully light and fruity. Not too sweet, tho. Definitely recommended!
revlon has a winner with this one.smells so good.
Hair conditioner; pear; sweet flowers.
It smells great!
Fragrance lasts. Smells fresh. Young scent. Love it!
