I brought this after shave when in Lanzarote and the smell ive never smell anything like it. I couldnt purchase it in this country having looking everywhere and not thinking of the net to purchase it, but just got some off here.

Great scent. Not all that long lasting, but great. It smells very very similar to Givenchy Rouge, to me. Both rock and are unique. This stuff is very sexy, not earth shattering. It smells like Laguna by Dali, also, if you know that scent. If found cheap, get.

this is a good scent; just a little too strong. Try AB Silver Nature. Its awesome, but essentially has the same smell as this one.

While I've never smelled anything else by this designer I love this fragrance. All the notes blend together on my skin just right and I'm not someone who can wear everything out there even if I love it on others. It's just beautiful.

FINALLY, got some of this. Money don't grow on trees. It was worth the long wait Rob H. thank you. I love the spices from top to bottom and you're right I have never smelled this on anyone else and I live in New York City. If I have I don't recall smelling them so to heck with them anyway cause it'll smell better on me (lol!!).

hard to pick between this and the original since they are both quite good....except that I think this one might be better suited for cooler temps and evenings, and the other one a better choice for daytime and warmer temps. In other words, they are both worth having!

I just opened my package of this. Sprayed it on... and OMG it is awesome. I was previously using Curve and before that GEIR. I love GEIR, but it's pricey. This stuff is like a perfect blend between the tones of GEIR and Curve, with its spice yet not overpowering sweetness. My wife loves it already.

Is it only me, or does this remind you of code black? Maybe it's that dark sensuous smell that relates..but overall, this cologne is great! the drydown is kind of weak, but the smell is just so appealing to the nose

Nice night wear scent. I think that if you wear and like Xeryus Rouge, you may like this. They are different scents but I feel that they could be cousins. I also have Armand Basi Homme and found it disappointing. Not because it wasn't nice, it was because I found it to be the weaker twin of Arpege Pour Homme. I prefer Arpege.

I was a little disappointed with this one considering all the glowing reviews. The scent is nice although a little generic. Also, it doesn't last nearly long enough for me to give it a top rating. I think Armand Basi Homme is a much better fragrance and you would be wiser to go with that one...

I have Mont Blanc's Individuel and am looking for another cologne for everyday wear that is different from Individuel. How would Armand Basi work and where can I find it in US stores? I'd like to smell before I buy. Thanks.

These reviewers and their ratings are all true. This stuff is fantastic and you won't ever smell it out there which makes it mysterious to anyone you'll encounter. This spicy, woody hit with a slight touch of sweetness is seductive, sophisticated and to the youngsters fresh out of HS or in the middle of college................this is pimpin' stuff! The only complaint about it is that the lasting power is average and could be a bit better and the fact that most everybody that owns it probably had to buy blind online or found it outside the U.S. in stores. Wow, I love this one! Rich, elegant, and spicy, yet subtle. The slight touch of citrus gives it a fresh quality, but it's not "aquatic". Deep, intriguing, and very well balanced. One of my favorites for men! Should be a staple in any man's collection.

Powering but not overpowering spicy-sweet/woody aroma is great for the evening hours and of course, close encounters with some lovely ladies.

This unknown sweet/spicy aroma is a hit with the ladies during the evening hours when it's time to get sensual and intimate. Only real complaint is that it doesn't last very well but the scent is damn good, though!

Sensually spicy evening fragrance is quite romantic and best of all it's a sleeper and will be for a long time probably.

With some of the same notes such as the vanilla, cinnamon, musk and tonka bean; it does share a similarity with Le Male but this is strictly for the evening. This GQ fragrance is spicier, more masculine but doesn't last nearly as long as the other. Both are excellent fragrances but I'll use this one more often for romantic encounters than JPG.

My most favorite cologne of all time happens to be this spicy and very sensual evening sleeper from still somewhat unknown designer Armand Basi. I would agree with this Rob H. who seems to know his colognes that it bears some similarity to Le Male and maybe somewhat to Signature but not so much on the sweet side.

Not very easy to find but I found it! Sensually spicy with some sweetness to it and it's a total mystery to EVERYONE who smells whenever I'm wearing it. I never tell any of the curious gents out there (who want to know the name of it) what it is.

I've never even heard of this designer until I came across this website and I tell ya...........almost no place out there carries it. But I finally did find a place that has it and sampled it right away. I was very pleased to finally get a whiff of this sensuously spicy/vanilla evening fragrance from a designer I hope has more to come.

On a quest for a sophisticated evening sleeper, I came across this spicy and sensual wonder. I had read the review from Rob H. a few months ago when I stumbled upon this website but wanted to make this particular sleeper my very first post, being that it's one of the greatest mysteries among mens' colognes. I just recently found a store that sells it so I immediately sampled and was nothing short of amazing. My wife craves me even more whenever I wear this and I thank YOU Mr. Basi for creating this GQ fragrance for us guys who demand attention and want it to remain a mystery!

Among spicy evening fragrances, I find this one to be truly the best. I hope there's much more to come from Mr. Basi.

His first one was great and this one is even better. Luscious and sensual spiciness that drives my girl wild as well as the rest of the ladies out there.

This scent seems rather unknown but it definitely smells like it could eventually land its designer on the fragrance map soon enough. Anyways I agree that it does smell like JPG's Le Male only spicier and less minty but I don't know about Signature which I'll have to sample in order to compare. GIVE IT A TRY, FELLAS!!
