To Jules -- similar scents (to my nose anyway) to VS Body include Carolina Herrera 212, the new Estee Lauder *Pure* White Linen, RL Romance, Banana Republic Classic, L'Eau d'Issey, the Philosophy Graces, and the discontinued Jessica McClintock #3, Lancome Oui, Alfred Sung Pure & Pure Moment. I've never been a fan of this genre - I always get the sharp bug spray / hair spray / Windex vibe from these.

I smelt this on someone else and thought it was heavenly. However, when I tried it, it was simply yucky. This has never happened to me and therefore, I am going to say this is an interesting one. Defintely see how this scent works with your body chemistry before buying it.

I love this scent. It smells shower-clean and yet it has some sexy undernotes. By comparison to other fragrances I wear, this is light, but maybe that is why I like it so much. Lately, I have been searching for something subtle.

I am not a fan of powdery scents, but I find this one to just have a tad bit of it. It's actually quite nice, they arranged the scents beautifully. I have never smelled anything similar to this scent. Maybe that's why I like it more I guess.

...I LOVE this perfume!!! My sister has worn it for a while and it seems to smell much different on her than on me. I put some on in the store, walked around the mall for a while, came back and bought a large bottle and a little bottle (one-ounce) to carry in my purse. I can't quite place my finger on it, but this perfume reminds me of something from my past. I don't know what it is, but when I smell this it takes me back and I feel good--so it must be a good thing. Very clean and crisp.

Basic Instict -yes. But this one- no. It's very crisp and powdery. Like a clean baby's bottom.

After smelling this I think it's feminine and freshly clean. I just got a tiny bottle to try it out, so I haven't used it for a long time. This is like the smell of a woman when your skin mixes with water and soap...or the end of the day when perfume is soft and different than before. It's like that good scent that can't be described really. It kind of melts into you. A plus is men love that smell! Very good scent.

I tried this perfume when my aunt had it, and I fell in love with it! This is the tamest scent that I can wear (I'm a woody-oriental kind of girl), and it still has some of those elements in it if you read the description (example: sandalwood).

this one is light, sporty, and fresh, and aquatic. It reminded me a lot of Ralph Lauren Polo Sport for women and Nautica for women.

I cannot believe that people wrote Body was a teen fragrance. I am 23-years-old and get compliments every day on how I smell delicious!! It is not too strong, yet the scent lingers all day! I love this fragrance!!

Along W by Banana Republic, Light Blue by D&G, Orange Blossom by Gap, Ralph by Ralph Lauren and Ibiza Hippie by Escada, Body by Victoria is one of my favourite perfume. It's so fresh, feminine... smells flowery... could be the water hyacinth... or was that freesia.. after it dried down, it smells very good as well. Just a note, BCBGirls Nature smells like Body by Victoria after both of them have dried down... I suspect that it's the white musk..? or was that water hyacinth.. anyhow, I love Body by Victoria! And I'm no teenager... >_< (<- that's a frown) in my early 30's..

I went into the store to buy Pink, which is good as well. The sales girl recommended that I try Body by Victoria. Loved it! Stupid name though.

i bought a bottle two years ago. it's lasted me till now. i use it every now and then when i want to smell clean and fresh. i've gotten tons of compliments on this. it's a wonderful scent, but smells like a lot of other perfumes out there too.

I like this scent. It is so fresh smelling and very comfy. I wear it to the gym or when I am spending the day with my friends. It smells like one of those soaps that you wish they would make a perfume out of. I do think it is a younger scent and not to be used for the night on the town. But nice and worth a try. The price is right, especially when you buy sets.

Ok, so I'm not a teenager, but almost a senior citizen and I love the lightness of Body. I have had so many compliments on this fragrance that it is fast becoming one of my favorites. I love Breathless, too! I think it's too heady for teens though.

ok Victoria Secret has only one really good scent and it is called Breathless.Very different from the tacky designer spinoff scents they have been creating. Breathless may seem weird at first but wait until it drys down it is yummy.

I agree with you, Kell -- I bought a tiny bottle of this thinking it was fresh and clean, but it ended up smelling kind of cloying and heavy, I felt like a teenaged mall rat all day. I prefer more sophisticated scents.

I took this one back to the store after I realized how nautious it made me. And I realized how much I smelled like "everyone else". This is a very common used "teen" fragrance. I prefer to be more unique.

This is a nice scent. I just bought it and I love it and best of all...it doesn't make me sneeze, lol.

I love this fragrence. It is a must if you like that straight out of the shower clean fresh smell. I've gotten compliments galore.

I think this is a great summer fragrance. I only wish it had greater staying power.

This is a beautiful scent. It automatically makes me feel prettier when I put it on. It's very clean, but at the same time very seductive. When I wear it my husband always wants to hold me a little longer.

when i wore this to work it made the men in my office act strange--it attracted a lot of attention and finally one man told me he had to know what it was so he could buy it for his wife

I recently purchased Body by Victoria, after testing all of their other fragrances. I came in thinking I would buy Pink. My first impression of Body by Victoria was that it was nondescript, smelled like a body splash. But as I walked around the mall, I found that I liked it far better than any of the other VS fragrances. It isn't sharp, it smells clean and fresh. I could imagine wearing it for any occasion, especially during the spring and summer.

I loved this body splash, lotion, etc. by Victoria's Secret about 3 years ago in the summer. WHO knows what perfume is out there that has this scent so I CAN BUY IT??

I like this one, but it doesn't have the staying power even with the lotion. But the guys love it.

Not a good scent on me. This is way to musky and thick (if you know what I mean). Giving it 3 stars because it is the best of the VS perfumes.

This is a very feminine scent and I really liked it. But Victoria's Secret has a bad habit of discontinuing scents so I wonder how long it will be before we can longer find this wonderful fragrance.

Starts off fresh, slightly flowery and musky. Dry down is good. The "green"-fresh flowery smell is still there, but less pronounced and the muskiness blends well and becomes more predominant. Sensual smell, but not "In Your Face" type of fragrance. It's just sort of natural and there; blends in, doesn't take over. Good fragrance.

I got this from my husband, and it is truly a wonderful scent! It's light and citrussy-airy, but still sexy. It fits any occation, any season.

It's absolutely amazing! It's one of those fragrances that anybody can wear regardless of your age. It's fresh and uplifting but without any annoying citrus scent. It's a fragrance that's not sharp or strong in any wear and it is a total joy to wear! Give it a try!

I recently purchased the body lotion, actually my boyfriend did and I really like it. It's a fruity-fresh smell. Great for the spring/summer months.
