why why why did you make this perfume obselete i cant live without it, you have to bring it back. please, please, please bring it back.

GIO by Giorgio Armani. This is my favourite perfume in the world. It reminds me of contented and wonderful times. If I could speak to Mr Armani, I would ask him why he decided to discontinue this adorable perfume, loved by so many people. Please bring it back. I, for one, would buy a hundred bottles, so I could wrap myself in this wonderful fragrance forever.

Ive have worn GIO for over 15yrs and I have found nothing like it.. I love it!!! Its my signature scent. When ever i wear something else because I can find it everyone says" its nice but... its just not u" Drives me nuts!!! They r still all these old perfumes in production like, Poison,Givenchy,dear lord even oscar de la renta!! Please bring it back

This is very sweet in my opinion. A bit too sweet actually for my taste. So, I will apply very little. Sometimes if perfumes are too intense initially, they improve after a long enough dry down period. Hope Gio will work better for me after it "settles". I never apply perfume directly on my skin anymore. Prefer to apply it to my clothes. And, sometimes this gives wonderful results after some hours.

Can't get this anymore and I'm so upset that it's been discontinued, Why? It's been one of my favourites for years. The company needs to rethink, so many people love this scent, especially me !!!

I'm having a hard time understanding why Gio has been discontinued and other parfumes have not like Escape, White Diamonds anyway there's nothing that comes close to Gio. Does requesting even help? will they ever bring it back? Aqua doesn't replace it. Help! We demand Gio be brought back!

i wore Gio for yrs when it came out...I am completely devastated Gio was discontinued and wish armani would reconsider bringing it back..there is nothing similar on the market now and nothing lasts on my skin better than this...this is my fragrance!!!

This the hardest perfume to find but the hunt is worth it. This is by far the best perfume and the compliments are by women and men. It is alluring, sexy, mysterious and spell binding. I need to find it.

My mom gave me a sample of this perfume a while back, and I fell in love! A couple years ago I found it in a perfume store in Mexico and bought a BIG bottle. I wish I would have bought the store out... They were only charging $60 for a 3.4 oz!!!! Note to self: When in Mexico, skip the margaritas and buy Gio!!!

Armani has emailed me back confirming they have discontinued Gio, my favorite scent in the world! Everyone please contact Armani and request they produce Gio again.

Actually, that's a great answer...I love original perfumes that aren't copycats of other scents. Unique is good! I'm getting tired of the newer perfumes; they all smell like fruit cocktail. I'll have to try Gio! Thanks again. ;)

Unfortunately, Barbara, it doesn't smell like anything else out there. I've tried and many a perfume counter lady has said, "Oh yes, Gio!" and then gotten a sad look on her face. There's something about the way it dries down that's so yummy, hours and hours after you put it on.

why would they take this off the market..the agua gio is terrible and stinks..bring it back its very mellow and wonderful fragrance,and they dont smell you before you enter a room.the fragrances out today are the worst

I have worn GIO since the beginning and nothing else compares. A day does not go by that someone does not ask what it is, especially the men. I'm so happy to have found it again, I'm down to my last drops!

Used Gio about nine years ago and I thought it was a very pretty, floral and rich frangrance. I had to apply it sparingly because it can be overpowering according to other peoples' comments after putting it on. This perfume is definitely for evening or romantic wear.

i have tried so many other perfumes : tresor, hugo boss woman, miracle, emporio armani white, dolce gabanna light blue but nothing compares to gio. I bought it again today and it was like coming home.

I loved this scent when my sister first give it to me, but after 6 months it went stale quite quickly. I bought another bottle and enjoyed it for again 6 months and again it went stale. I have been told that perfume usually has a life of about 2 years. Does anyone else find Gio has a short shelf live?

Years ago someone gave me Acqua di Gio instead...big mistake...and I gave up on Gio. Have recently been using Versace Blonde and Dolce & Gabbana (regular, not Sicily)...both v. nice but fond memories of Gio persist. Going to save my pennies and buy a bottle...thrilled to find it. Thanks!

I've been looking for Gio and for years I have not found it. The last time my husband bought one for me was in HongKong 3 years ago. And I couldn't find it anywhere in the US since then! I'm SOOO happy you have it! This is my favorite of all the ones I use. Go GIO!!

I have been wearing Gio for about 10 years and had unbelievable compliments on this fragrance. All of a sudden it was gone! Up until today, I have only been able to find it in St. Thomas. Does anyone know why they stopped carrying it in the US? Anyway, thank you so much for carrying this perfume! You have made my day!

this is a very nice scent,if you want a perfume to last all day this is the one,I would strongly warn about over doing it with this or it will be way to strong and it will get you sick.it is a very sweet fragrance,but if your very light with this it is a very nice scent that will last all day long,also the drydown smells pretty much like when you first put the perfume on, there is nothing i hate more then putting a perfume on and loving it then an hour later it smells totally different.

Whenever I wear Gio, men always ask what it is and always complement it. And, what's more, I love the fragrance. It never gives me a headache or makes me nauseous, and the scent really lasts.

I started using this fragarance in 1993. I use it everyday and I am asked every day once if not more often what am I wearing? I used all the creams/soaps/lotions also and can no longer get them. Ihave been told that the perfume is no longer made and that the supply is now only what has been left over or it is a knockoff. Please/Please can't this be made again, it is one of the most beautiful fragarences I have ever smelled or worn!!!!

My husband had found Gio for me . I have never had so many compliments on my fragarence. I have had a hard time also in finding it. I have tried the Auqua and hate it. I have tried coco chanel . It is very good but not as good as Gio. I too wonder why it is no longer available at stores.

Why does L'oreal no longer make it and why is it not sold in department stores.

I love the smell of Gio. I was on an overnight steamer ship from Naples to Sicily and found I couldn't sleep in my dank cabin. One spray of Gio, all smelled familiar, and I was in dreamland.

Gio is my "signature scent", it lasts all day and is simply wonderful. I wonder if any Gio-fan can recommend some other scent to wear over summer - something as fantastic and long-lasting?

I simply love this perfume. People stop me on the street or in the stores and tell me how wonderful I smell... One lady said once: "I don't know what is it that you're wearing but it surely smells wonderful" I have no idea why this perfume is discontinued in the US. I wish it wasn't so I can continue to buy and use this wonderful scent.

There is a store that sells it in Missouri called Perfume Pizzaz. It's the only place here I can still buy the only perfume I love...!!!

I LOVE Gio!! I wonder if they will bring this one back. When it was in the stores, they were always sold out. The girl behind the counter at Macy's in Dallas, TX said they rarely had any selection in the "Gio" dept. only aqua. WHY discontinue such a popular and heavily demanded item???

This fragrance is so hard to find.It is a nice fall/winter frag. You need to spray a very small amount on.The scent last all day.Smells like spice mixed with something nice.

This fragrance stays true for hours. It is a heavier scent, and I only waer it in the evening or winter. Too strong of a scent for daytime, or summer. It is heady, and good for dancing, or other active forms of evening entertainments. It gets muskier, and more sensuous, not deluted or foul.

I agree this is a nice perfume, but very strong! My mother in law sprayed too much on one time when she came over, and since then I haven't been able to wear it!! It's a very pretty scent when used sparingly. Flowery ad fruity!

It was a Big mistake to discontinue GIO Its one of the best-ever made.

My husband bought my first bottle of GIO for me after he heard me ask a woman what scent she was wearing! I'd NEVER, e-v-e-r asked a strange woman this question before, but after following her around the store, I HAD to ask!!! Now it's all I will ever wear!! I absolutely love it and get very nice comments from men and women!! I actually had a woman follow ME through a store just to find out what I was wearing, too!! I'm on my 11th bottle in 3 years. My husband likes to surprise me with a bottle whenever he finds one. He's helping me stock up before GIO completely disappears!!! Stock up, people!!! It will be a sad day for us all when it's gone:-(((

Why do designers do this, once you find a perfume you enjoy and get compliments on they stop making it??

I love Gio. I wear it for myself. Gives me a 'lift' with its rich ecstatic fragrance. I receive a lot of compliments too. I used to like Arpege, Shalimar and Infini. I dont know what is the common factor. Turning point came when I smelled the oriental lilly 'Casablanca' for the first time. I kept searching a fragrance that had the exotic flower scent. I came across a coworker in 1994 who smelled so sweet. I asked her what it was. And so I found Gio....

I love this scent. Not for everyone. You have to love a scent that men walk up to you just to breath you in..... rich and spicy!

I found this scent about 5 years ago and lost it. Now you can only get it on line. It is very, very, sweet. This is a "candy flower" scent. It is enjoyable on occasion and not recommended for everyone. Although, I do get compliments each time I wear it.

Does anyone know where I can purchase any body products for Gio. They sell the sprays and parfum on this site, but I can't find the body products anywhere.

Gio is extremely strong. I don't care for it much. It gives me a splinting headache! I've found Acqua di Gio to be much more pleasant.
