Wow, what's with all the negs!? This sharp woodsy supposed flop didn't smell all that great on paper and on my skin at the beginning it was so-so but in a matter of minutes.......the drydown became quite alluring for some pretty female nasals.

Just awful from start to drydown, AAAAGGH!!!

this is a fresh auatic fragrance which is quite strong with some notes being a little too sharp for my nose but otherwise a decent fragrance nothing great

Never have i smelled such an awful fragrance! Agree with posts that this should've never been promoted by Agassi. Very cheap, non-thought-out smell!

as people keep saying it is. It really isn't the worse and for what I feel is an aqua cologne, it isn't that typical like the ADG's and it's copycats. However, still, it's average at best.

Certainly Agassi is not promoting for money!($170mill.net worth) He must actually like and wear this sour/rank stuff!! Unbelievable!

a nice fragarance to add to your collection. As somebody else said, it's a nice combination between marine,oceanic and woody notes. I find it kind of oriental. It's cool. After a few hours though, the fresh oceanic feel starts to fade off and the woody notes are predominant. The bottle is also very nice.Get this if you are collector or just to have it

Mild and inoffensive (to me). Surprised at the strong "attacks" by some. Suitable for day use - never gets too heavy or musky even in humid, warm, stuffy environments, which is good.

The fragrance is smooth, cool & confident. The people leaving bad reviews?? I dont understand???? Do you all work for an opposition company??

i cant understand the reaction of this guys, LIFE is simply great, not a hit sure, but his notes share a great balance between freshness and woody... comfortable and easy to wear.... what happen people ???

Agassi...one of the best of all time! Aramis Life...one of the worst of all time! This smells cheap and very rank(gotta be the spearmint)! 3rd worst fragrance I've smelled in last few years coming behind 360 blue and L'eau Bleue D'issey!!

This, along with St. Dupont Signature are the worst of my collection. Probably because they are very similar. There is just nothing good about this stuff...never should have been made.

I don't know why so many guys are knocking this cologne! I bought it for my man and he loves it! It's refreshing..light..and modern. What's up guys?

The worst in the Aramis lineup right next to the original Aramis but it does have one good quality............it actually lasts unfortunately. Toxic!!

Coming from a fairly popular mainstream designer, they should be ashamed of themselves even creating and releasing this awful stench to the market.

Smells like spoiled chicken that got sprayed with Lysol...might as well spray some Lysol on yourself.

hate. most reviews obviously have come from people who have never worn the fragrance or who have only smelled it from the bottle. this scent is awesome. very rich, and vibrant with an excellent mixture of notes. spicy/fresh scent that works wonders. when i first smelled life i was a hater too, then i wore it and this is great. do yourself a favor and sample for yourself.

I just wonder why these people say this. This fragrance rocks! Nothing to do with Bvlgari's BLV, two very different scents, I'd say this one's very distinctive; it doesn't smell like others; fresh and masculine, trendy. The description here is quite accurate. I would simply recommend it.

The clerk at the store offered me a sample and said she really liked it..........I gagged and then sneezed the instant I smelled it.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy this cologne!! If you get this message soon, let me know what he likes or what you like to smell on him.

Starts out OK but in a matter of just a few minutes you'll be wanting to rinse off the area of your body where you've sprayed it to rid the stench. Kind of a cheaper and lower quality version of Bvlgari's BLV.

i cant believe the rating of this Aramis, simply this people don`t know about fragances... Seriously this is a great perfume, i dont see any problems with it, is fresh, woody/spicy with some nice sweet notes,... great long lasting too. 5 stars ... its a great fragance !!

With the exception of New West and JHL which are the high end of Aramis, this is truly and positively one of the WORST fragrances from an average designer that I have EVER smelled!!

I agree with all the 1 & 2* ratings......might as well wear something cheap by Coty or wear Brut, Jovan Musk or something.

When I first sampled this on the card at the store, my first thought was that it reminded me a little of BLV by Bvlgari. I sprayed some on my skin and after maybe five minutes I said "NAAHH, DON'T THINK SO!!".

HEY PEOPLE this stuff is a really great fragance..! the version "my summer" is an awesome, fresher and floral smell than "life" go to buy it, and forget what this people said ! l

Pretty poor cologne. I got this for Christmas. The person picked a lemon of colonges on this one. There is just way too much going on in this scent to make a description. It's like going overkill making a salad and adding too much crap. The purpose is to eat the salad and taste the salad right? No different here? It's almost on the line of a not so bad smelling roach repellant. Have a nice life.

I may be in the minority here, but it's hard for me to find clean, fresh scents that last a full day like this one does. I especially like the leather on the drydown. Certainly not the best fragrance I've ever tried, but it's not as wretched as some make it out to be.

After spraying in on once I bought this one for my husband and in my opinion this smell is soothing, fresh and pleasant.

Being promoted by Agassi doesn't help this rather annoying scent and the same for Sabatini's Wild Wind which is waste of time sampling also.

Andre Agassi's endorement of this cologne has helped sales, but as correctly noted by me fellow fragrance guru's , this scent aint all that.

The first time, I thought it was nothing special. But after few months I bought a bottle of this. Really different on skin. I suggest to try then decide. Different, good to me.

I'm wearing it right now. I got it as a gift cause I hinted I liked it at a mall. Paper and skin are two different things. There's alot of ingrediants in this colonge. Too bad you can't smell them. Too busy cutting the scent with water and alchohol the scent is stale and vauge. It doesn't even last that long. It's kind of a big wadded mess but it's not terrible smelling. I think Aramis is a pretty overated cologne company. They yet have anything I like that is worth a damn.

The very best smells all over the country

Smells awful on me.. A female friend smelled it on me (sample), and hated it - really hated it!. She said i smelled like a prostitue dipped in chemical waste!. Might have something to do with my skin of course - may be completely different on other guys.

Reminds me of so many other colognes from the distant past. Nothing new here.

I don't smell anything special about Aramis Life. It's not a bad scent and smells familiar but I can't think of which fragrance it reminds me of. All in all it's just a so-so scent to me. Try it yourselves and of course you may think differently.

What do you all mean when you say this stinks??? I don't know if it is because I am european and the taste over here is another but this is outstanding, spicy and it stands out but yet not too exotic. If it lasts all day on you I don't know, (it does on me) try it out! On this side of the planet It was one of the best selling perumes last fall. Ok I guess it's not for plane, colourless, mainstream guys but than again, those guys all wear Aqua di gió or something similar and don't look this way.

This is a really bad mix. I mean it really stinks. I would never buy it again. And you shouldn't either even if your friend from church is making you buy him two.

This has a pour monsieur by chanel start and finishes like old spice. AWEFUL!!!

It's.....eh. I dont know what Aramis was trying to do but the scent has no clarity. It also is very faint, lasts very little with time and gets really boring quick. Not worth the money. The sprayer jams alot on me too. Bad bad bad.

this is anice scent but weak and lasts for may be an hour.Oxygen is stronger but again does not last for a long time..I love Surface by aramis it is my favorite

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT... IT'S AN AMAZING SCENT THAT GIVES YOU POWER MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER.. and SUCCESS LIKE AGASSI( YES STRANGE BUT I TRIED AND REALIZED:)

Don't really know how to categorize this one; it's unique for sure, but i can't decide if it's clean and fresh or clean and synthetic. Definitely different and hard to hang a label on. I think it has potential as a keeper, but you'd really have to wear this one a while to make your own decision. Certainly not offensive, but i'm not sure what they're after with this one. Give it a try.

EXCELLENT COLOGNE...VERY REFRESHING AND AMAZING

I got this from my girlfriend. I hinted I liked the smell at the mall when it came out. But that was on paper. Paper and your skin are two different things. This colonge is mediocre at best. Don't belive the hype and just cause a tennis star is promoting it doesn't mean a thing. Aramis is a very overated cologne company and most of thier stuff smells like puke. This attempt was better yet they added too much alchohol and not enough oil. The stuff vanishes on your skin in 5 minutes. My gf got this for me. She was going to get me Issey Misyake. This stuff isn't even in the same ballpark as Issey. It's also not one of the better colonges of 2003. I'd take Paradise by A.Sung over this.
