A great gift- comes very nicely presented!

I was excited when I first discovered Z, but the excitement has waned the more I get to know it. Z is a fairly typical fresh/green fragrance, with a bergamot/lemon opening with green and light woods underneath. Z is linear - there is NO development on the skin. After 3 hours it smells like it did when first sprayed. There is a light metallic note that may be from the synthetic component or may be from design, but regardless it is unpleasant. A good light scent for summer or the office, but nothing too spectacular.

I really liked this wonderful scent, when I spray it I said that this is the one that i've been looking for years, it's perfect. So I immediately purchased it and I have only one comment, the scent only last for about an hour or so. To the Cologne Gurus or to anyone, is there any cologne that smells like Z Zegna but last long? Thanks. Cheers!

There is at once a powdery freshness and earthy sharpness with Z Zegna. Very pleasant and great for office wear but it doesn't last past early afternoon. For those who enjoy them, the after shave balm version of Z is fantastic.

This stuff is excellent! I see some reviewers have issues as far as lasting power. My experience has been favorable with many positive comments. People have to understand that this product where's the way a good colonge should. Meaning, if you're fairly close to the person wearing it you can identify this masculine fragrance unlike other products that are way too strong. Example, the other day I was inside an elevator and when the person got off I could still smell his colonge 15 minutes later on the return trip...

I wore some Z to work and got good feedback from a couple coworkers. I can't see how many would hate this one.

This is one of th e best smelling colognes I have ever used, it is a combination of green and spice that makes your feel good all over.

Very clean fresh scent, also on the sweet and subtle side. nice warm weather scent, though it also seems a little...safe.

The scent smells nice. I had a vial sample and got the opinion of 4 women and they all liked it. I like it but it is not a buy for me because it is not modern enough, nothing new, and seems to fade faster than my barber. It is slightly above average but not quite in the good category.

Fresh,doesnt give me a headache, gotten numerous compliments from the opposite sex.Lasts long time on my skin

nothing new, very dull and no power. i must have been smoking writing my first review giving it an almighty five.5 +1 divided by 2 =3 stars.

I don't know about u guys. Must be your skin chemistry because this fragrance lasts like all day on me. This is the only fragrance I have ever used that truly lasts long, over 7-8 hours. On first spray this smells amazing. Some people on the net are saying this is nothing new. Well I don't know if it is and do not care lol. All I know is it smells great on me. I ran out of my 3.3 oz bottle recently, I am going to the buy the limited edition black bottle next time. Looks Kool. Try this out. great longevity and great smell!

depending on your chemistry has a lot to do with a scent. 45 min. is an understatement jason x. any this fresh with a touch of spiciness due to the white pepper last a lot longer than original. great second scent that has improved from the first.

too soapy for my taste, and no surprises with this fragance, im tired of those aquatic fragances. not bad at all, but nothing new. great longevity, + 5 hrs

Took awhile for this to be added to the site with everyone posting comments of this on Essenza's board. The smell, a superb spicey/sporty-fresh smell. I know a good number of women who really like it. The problem, well they better smell you within 45 min. because that is all this offers in longevity!
