What a great fragrance. It is soft and pretty. I was hesitant to try this one, because I do not like Hanai Mori. This is a completely different fragrance. I can't detect any special notes in it. It just smells wonderful. I am attracted to the chypres, but this oriental is wonderful. So many of the orientals are too cloying, in my opinion. This one is just nice from start to finish. Well balanced!

Oh my goodness this Fragrance needs to be available at all department stores

This Fragrance was made for my body chemistry. It lasts a long time, I get compliments all of the time when wearing it and I do not have to use a lot of it! People do not even ask what I am wearing, they only remark about how nice I smell!!!

This is one of those rare perfumes I've actually repurchased. I love both the edt, edp and shower gel in this. I currently prefer the edt, since it is "lighter" and the weather is so stifling right now, but will switch to the edp in the fall. I don't get any bugspray notes! I'm actually floored by the negative reviews on this. It opens just barely fruity, with vanilla, blonde woods, including a very good rendition of Mysore sandalwood that dominates in the drydown, but is softened by the vanilla. The floral notes and fruit notes are so meticulously blended that I can't pick any one out. Staying power is excellent on all forms. This is one of those rare masterpieces that will, I imagine, have an even stronger cult following as time passes. If you love Mysore sandalwood and vanilla, this is a must-try!

i have hanae mori and i love the scent so i bought this one blindly and for some reason, it gives me a headache. i dont know what it is. so disappointing!

This scent was way too strong and overwhelming. I found it perfumey and fake smelling...old ladyish. Yuck!

Hey Barbara W., I've smelled this a couple of times, and it seemed very light & sweet. It just didn't seem to hit me with the notes too much. Bulgari Black had the same effect on me, I barely could smell it or make out the notes. I wasn't knocked over by this scent like all of you. Will try again...

the fragrance is lovely right from the sweet first whiff,the yummy middle notes,to the woodsy dry down.it reminds me of a luminous,fragrant,serene moonlit night :-D

The EDT is light, woodsy and sweeter. The edp is less sweet with more emphasis on the woods. The parfum (which I love) is darker and focuses more on the incense. Oh,and all of them do seem to start of like bug spray, but after 15 minutes they are really nice. So give them a chance and try all of them.

Magical Moon is a lovely addition to Hanae Mori's fragrance line. More complex than her other creations, this is a soft, slightly spicy oriental that is worth a sniff! Very elegant.

This fragrance smells wonderful on a co-worker, but when I wore it I thought it smelled too much like cedar shavings. Maybe it's the patchouli? Not sure.
