Great smell for all day.

This citric-marine fragrance is not bad at all but I kinda disagree with the description on the main page. It's really not a babe magnet-type and it could be used for anytime day or night.

well, i was not expecting much when the lady at the store sprayed on me this musculine scent.. she said her husband used this..so i will, from now on.definetly a classy scent..i dont agree about aqua notes though..

Smelling Sauvage is like experiencing something beautiful but veeery static. 1881 gives you the promise of beauty and adventure. It´s a lighter and somewhat sweeter sibling of Santos de Cartier a lá 80´s. And by God, Santos de Cartier is so elegant it should be reserved for Lord Elrond of Rivendell.

by dior. first application says so and so does drydown. clones are all over in the cologne world.

Though I disagree with the ad's evening recommendation, this is a daytime cologne for me: good, fresh and casual. There are better formal evening choices, from Roberto Cavalli, Mont Blanc Individuel, Signature, Bulgari Black and Fernando's pick, Minotaure. True, that's an oriental and this is an aromatic wood green scent. I think it's good but no seabreezes or marine notes that I can detect. Give it a try. Meanwhile I'll stick to Himalaya.

Outstanding citrusy/marine scent that's hardly worn by the general population of guys out there. A sleeper for the time being as well as Cerrutisi.

I cant get hold of Cerruti 1881 aftershave balm anywhere. Do they still make it? and if so, where can I get it from?

This one is worth trying. It has a very nice and subtle musky scent. Starts off very fresh with amberish scents and dries down to a nice musk. I recommend trying it.

Sensuous and sophisticated, this is my favorite among Nino's lineup so far. The bath & shower gel is a great companion piece as well.

in the attack of new fragrance, its 1 of the best. most of men and women arround like it, but some dislike-cant tell why. in the bottom line when icant find the 1 i like this will be my best choice!

Cerruti 1881 for men is a breathtaking, modern and classy(!) fragrance. It smells excellent on men (...and women). In Germany 1881 is a bestseller.

I like it, but have heard that some people think that it smells a bit old... A nice scent though, but that worries me a bit... Any opinions?

Quite strong when first sprayed, an overwhelming blast of freshness. Very clean smell. Its difficult to discribe but nice. Definately worth trying if youre a cologne addict like me.

I didn't like it at all. I think it is too strong and it smells like those french perfume for ladies from 1980... Old fashioned, not modern at all. But people like it very much. If you are interested in something like this, I think Minotaure by Paloma Picasso would be a better choice.

Its a great product, but when are they going to bring back the hand lotion? I'ye used it for years and can't find it any more.

This is a GREAT Fragrance. It's masculine, fresh, clean, and warm. And while I wear it year round...it's especially cool to wear in summer. Enjoy it!! Josh
